Mike Wilkins named her Spectacular and that was spot on. Her Sire, Double Dutch American Spirit was sold for $175,000.00 in 2012 to Beloveds Farm. Her Full Brother, BRKRD Maxamus was skin biopsied by Dr. Evans in 2013 and his results were top of the class for a Suri. Her first cria hit the ground Black Friday 2013 and we are expecting her to continue down the road her dam paved. She is stellar, so nice in fact we are going to rebreed Spectacular with Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar in the Spring of 2014 in hopes of duplicating what this union produced this past fall. We have a confirmed pregnancy with a cria due March 2015 sired by none other than Goldstar!! Handilock proved to be a winner and was sold to Sun Spiced Alpacas in Florida in May of 2017. Admiral's dam was one of our first quality purchases and she has not disappointed. She not only has given us champions but her offspring have produced champions. Spectacular Bid was the Futurity Herdsire of the Year! Bid's Sire was Electrofyre but we went to an Electrofyre son, Sonata's Major Theme by Electrofyre for this union. Major's kids hit the ground in 2021 so this will be his first crop of offspring in the show ring. We liked the results of this breeding that we have repeated it for a 2022 cria!

Admiral is well built and looks like his dam but has his sire's amazing fleece attributes. He has layers of locks tightly aligned with a soft buttery feel. War Admiral's color genotype is eeaa, which means he can produce dark brown, bay black or true black when bred to specific females. He can also produce white, fawns and browns. So if you know the color genotype of your female, we can easily predict the color probabilities. He is holding excellent fineness at 3 years of age and has incredible luster. From Dr. Evans biopsy report in 2024 ....."by far shows the most fineness of fiber at 3 years of age of any Suri male I have checked. He also shows the largest level of glands that I can remember."
